Experienced ObGyn Physician to join our group of 11 ObGyn Physicians, 16 Certified Nurse Midwives, ObGyn Residents and others caring for urban, inner-city patients in Indianapolis, IN.
Our ObGyn Physicians care for ObGyn patients across the continuum of their care. They practice and oversee ObGyn care in one of 5 ObGyn outpatient locations, which is integrated with our Primary Care and other specialties. For inpatient care they deliver and operate at Indiana University Health, the largest hospital system in the State. It is a quaternary care academic health center (15th largest delivery system in the US) with a Level IV NICU, Level 1 Trauma Center, and extensive subspecialty resources including an integrated Children's Hospital. They are actively involved in ObGyn Resident Education with the largest US medical school. Nonetheless, with such a large group of ObGyn Physicians and Providers, this position offers an exceptional work-life balance that is truly uncommon, particularly in OB.
We offer extensive and competitive salary & benefits. These include: guaranteed base salary, No RVUs , Incentive Bonuses, 28 paid days off annually (33 days after 5 years) and 5 paid CME days/year. Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Requires current Indiana M.D. license.
- Requires Board certification or board eligibility with achievement of Board certification within 5 years of completing residency training..
- Requires DEA and SEA certification.
- Requires CPR certification.
- Requires completion of accredited ACGME residency program.
- Requires hospital medical staff membership.
- Requires effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Requires a high level of interpersonal; problem solving and analytical skills.
