Senior Financial Analyst
to join our team. Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President of Acquisitions & Capital Markets, this role is pivotal in driving acquisition, disposition, and financing transactions by analyzing investment opportunities and supporting critical financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities :Underwriting : Analyze new investment opportunities and pools of Freddie Mac loans in K-series securitizations.Financial Modeling : Develop cash flow models for refinancing, acquisitions, and capital improvement projects.Due Diligence : Assist in conducting financial and market analysis to value potential property investments.Financing & Investor Relations : Prepare lender packages and investment materials for the Investment Committee and external investors.Decision Support : Conduct NPV analysis to evaluate financing alternatives and their impact on ROI.Market Analysis : Monitor real estate and financial markets, interest rates, and economic trends to assess risk and identify investment opportunities.Collaboration : Work with brokers, lenders, and third parties to ensure smooth execution of property transactions.Special Projects : Provide ad hoc analytical support and conduct special studies to aid Executive Management decisions.Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred).Experience : Minimum 3 years of experience in real estate, financial services, or investments. Master's degree with at least 1 year of experience also acceptable.Skills : Advanced Excel skills, financial modeling, and strong analytical abilities. Experience with rent rolls, Skyline, and accounting software is a plus.Competencies :
Analytical Thinking : Ability to synthesize complex data and provide actionable insights.Problem Solving : Identifies issues and works collaboratively to develop effective solutions.Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to present findings clearly to executive teams.Teamwork : Works well within a team, balancing individual responsibilities with team goals.Business Acumen : Understands the real estate industry and broader market conditions, aligning work with strategic company goals.Additional Requirements :
