Job Title: Advanced Practice CRNA Job Specialty: Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8 Hours Guaranteed Hours: Experience: License: Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: Minimum Board Certification Job Description: - Perform a wide range of surgeries including cardiac, ortho, vascular, neuro, OB, pediatric, regional, and thoracic.- Specialize in general anesthesia, spinal, epidural anesthesia, and regional anesthesia.- Handle obstetrical, neurosurgical, open heart, thoracic, complex vascular, and orthopedic cases.- Utilize advanced pain management techniques, including post-op epidural and extremity blocks.- Perform epidural steroid injections for lumbar and cervical areas.- Apply transforaminal injections with lumbar and cervical techniques.- Use x-ray guidance in performing blocks.- Manage ventilation and acute volume/BP issues.- Perform central line, arterial line, and PA catheter placements.- Supervise other CRNAs as needed.- Engage in patient evaluations and management within the anesthesiology department.- Orientation period with up to 250 hours.- Credentialing process estimated to take approximately 60 days.
