As a cycle counter of Wabtec's distribution network in Houston TX, you will be responsible for various warehouse duties, including cycling counting, organizing materials, receiving incoming shipments, and assisting with other tasks as assigned.What do we want to know about you? Experience tracking and performing physical counts of all items as part of a cycle countExperience resolving inventory control issues accurately and productivelyReconciling inventory cycle count variances to root cause and lead the process to reduce errorsEvaluate transactions to resolve count discrepancies, working closely with Inventory Coordinators and production supervisors to resolve discrepanciesExperience assisting in inventory managementExperience using WMS systems such as OracleExperience with Microsoft Office Suit, such as Excel, Word, and PowerPointWhat will your typical day look like? Counting physical inventoryEnsure and maintain inventory accuracy, control, and integrityMaintain product identification and locationResearch discrepancies and resolving potential issues, such as variances Develop solutions for inventory issues such as overstockingInspecting products and keeping a record of damaged goodsManaging deliveries and checking product against logsWhat about the physical demands of the job?Employee is regularly required to stand, walk and sit throughout the work dayEmployee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 50 poundsEmployee is required to use mobile equipment at timesEmployee is regularly required to wear PPEEmployee is regularly required to use manual dexterity to operate hand toolsRequires regular daily attendance and interaction with other employeesYou may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.Who are we?
