Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: MS/Tele (Progressive Care Unit/Telemetry) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the specialty required License: Must have a relevant state or compact RN license Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Experience and comfort with a 1:6 patient ratio- Experience with PCU level patients- NIHSS certification or willingness to obtain before start date- ACLS and BCLS certifications through AHA or willingness to obtain before start date- Adult/geriatric and telemetry experience required- Familiarity with COVID-19 patient care Job Description: - The role requires providing nursing care specific to MS/Tele units, particularly for orthopedic and total joint replacement patients.- Floating is required within the scope of practice.- Must be able to work every other weekend.- Compliance with mandatory shifts for clinical orientation (36-40 hours the first week).- Expected to adhere to the hospital's policy of providing notice for shift changes, with potential impacts on guaranteed hours if notice periods are not accommodated.- Work includes assignments during holiday periods, with specific requirements to work on certain holidays depending on the assignment duration.- Requires completion of preliminary modules before the start date, with an expectancy of at least 4 hours.
