Summary:Provides basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff and ensures patient safety and well-being.CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - San Marcos, which originated in 1923 as Hays County Soldiers, Sailors and Marines Memorial Hospital, opened at its current Wonder World Drive location in 1983. We lead the region in da Vinci robotic-assisted surgery and offers a variety of specialty care services including medical imaging, rehabilitation, hospice, women's services and more.Responsibilities: Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders. Answering patient calls and helping patients with eating, bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Feeding patients, measuring, and recording their food and liquid intake. Monitoring and documenting patients' temperature, blood pressure, and other vital signs and reporting changes to nurses or doctors. Assisting nurses or doctors with medical procedures and dressing wounds.Job Requirements:Education/Skills High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience 1 year of experience required. 3 - 5 years of experience preferred. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications BLS required.
