Forklift Operator - Cross-dock facility

D&G Transportation is a refrigerated and frozen LTL carrier, supplying the US with essential foods. We are currently in need of highly motivated forklift operators who are interested in an exciting opportunity to work with our warehouse team in cross-dock operations. This is a rotation shift, working days mid-week, and evenings at end of the week as we require the trailers to be loaded. The hours are alternate weeks from Tue - Fri to Wed - Sat. Hours will be further discussed during your interview.
This position involves working in a temperature controlled warehouse environment. Refrigerated trailers are loaded and unloaded in accordance with product temp and scheduled appointments. Our team members enjoy problem solving and utilize resources to meet the demands that support being a leader in customer service. Our team enjoys working with others by being supportive and flexible. Primary responsibilities include the following:Forklift operationBe able to move, locate, relocate, stack and count product accuratelyInterpret bills of lading and be detail oriented.Material Handling - Lifting and sorting packages up to 50 lbs.
