Centurion is proud to partner with Correctional Healthcare Experts as the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Kansas Department of Corrections.
We are currently seeking a
full
-time
Physician
to join our team for a
hybrid opportunity
based out of Regional Office in Topeka, Kansas. This role would comprise of
50% telehealth, and 50% travel
to correctional facilities across the state.
The Physician provides medical assessments and evaluations, provides treatment for emergent, urgent, and routine medical issues, provides and supervises medical treatment for chronic medical conditions, and participates in organizational initiatives to help prevent diseases and injuries of patients in a correctional setting. The Physician works under the direction of the Site Medical Director and/or the Statewide Medical Director in collaboration with the Health Services Administrator (HSA) to ensure that efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided.
Qualifications
•Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required•Active, unrestricted MD/DO Kansas license and DEA or ability to obtain•Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine required•Experience providing MAT services preferred•Ability to pass credentialing, drug screening and background check
Monday through Friday day-time shifts.
