Our law firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our firm, handling complex litigation matters and providing legal support to our clients. This role requires an individual with a strong understanding of the legal industry, excellent communication skills, and a passion for advocating on behalf of our clients.

Responsibilities:

As a Litigation Associate Attorney, your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Drafting of pleadings, motions, and other legal documents to effectively represent our clients.
  2. Conducting e-discovery and fact development to build strong, compelling cases.
  3. Representing clients in court and effectively arguing cases.
  4. Collaborating with our team of attorneys to develop legal strategies and solutions.
  5. Providing legal advice and counsel to clients, ensuring they are fully informed of their rights and options.
  6. Conducting legal research and analysis to stay updated on current laws and regulations.
  7. Utilizing your experience and knowledge to mentor junior associates and contribute to the overall success of the firm.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

  1. Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
  2. A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a litigation attorney.
  3. Proven experience in drafting pleadings and motions.
  4. Experience with e-discovery and fact development.
  5. Strong academic record, as evidenced by a high GPA or clerkship experience.
  6. Court experience, including arguing motions and conducting trials.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound legal arguments.
  8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
  9. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and work collaboratively with a team.
  10. Admitted to practice law in the state, or the ability to gain admission within a reasonable time period.
