Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Oncology - Critical Need Job Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 8 hours, 07:00 AM to 05:00 PM Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Oncology experience required License: RN license required Certifications: ACLS, Chemo certified Must-Have: - IV therapy experience- IV insertion skills- Experience with venous access devices- Knowledge of central lines and PICC line insertion- Experience in chemotherapy administration- Experience in the administration of blood and blood products Job Description: - Float between required locations as needed.- Provide specialized nursing care in oncology.- Perform IV insertions and manage venous access devices.- Administer chemotherapy and monitor patient responses.- Handle blood and blood product administration in accordance with protocols.- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.- Maintain accurate patient records and document treatments.- Adhere to established safety protocols and procedures.
