Data Engineer Basic qualifications: A 4-year degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience 3 years or more of experience in software development or data engineering, with a focus on AWS cloud operations and serverless application development 3 years or more of experience with Python, with strong skills in unit testing and integration testing 3 years or more of experience with SQL Ability to decompose abstract designs into testable software deliverables Top candidates will also have: Relational and NoSQL database design experience (DynamoDB a plus) Proven Cloud solutioning and architecture experience Strong knowledge of end-to-end data lifecycle across traditional data warehouses, relational databases, operational data stores, business intelligence reporting, and big data analytics. Experience creating conceptual and logical data models Extract, Transformation, Load (ETL) or ELT development skills Knowledge of data technology products and components for Big Data and Cloud (AWS, Data Lakes, and similar).
