Department of Anesthesiology is growing and seeking a highly qualified
BE/BC Cardiac Anesthesiologist . The ideal candidate will have broad experience and interest in practicing in a high-acuity teaching environment. This successful candidate will join a large department and is expected to be engaged in our academic mission and the teaching of students, residents, and fellows. The individual will receive an academic appointment as a member of the faculty of the Geisel School of Medicine at a rank commensurate with experience.

Our Practice:Provide cardiac anesthesiology services for a high-acuity, clinically busy cardiac surgical service.Perform and interpret intra-operative transesophageal echocardiograms in real-timeProvide cardiac anesthesiology services for structural heart procedures in a well-supported and high-volume center.Case volume averages around 40,000+ cases per year at both the main campus and outpatient surgery centerChallenging cases with a dynamic case mix. Services include Cardiac, Gynecology, Plastics, Pediatrics, General Surgery, Oncology, Trauma, Maxillofacial, Neurosurgery, Thoracic, Transplant, Vascular and OrthopedicsAnesthesiologists at DHMC embrace the Anesthesia Care Team model and are involved in medical direction of CRNAs, resident teaching, and personally provided care.Why You'll Love Working with Us:
