As a Finance Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for working with business leaders and end users to understand their needs and translate those needs into functional requirements. You will utilize your business acumen skills along with your ability to work with IT teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
In this job, you will:
Document business leader and end user requirements for application enhancements, new application development, process improvements, etc. including current/future state process flows and prototypesAnalyze current state process, identify the gaps, and make recommendations for enhancementsIdentify and understand up- and down-stream impacts of requests and accommodate for or mitigate risks accordinglyIdentify success criteria for solution/enhancement implementation and associated measurement methodologyMonitor development efforts and ensure timely completion of business tasksDevelop test scenarios, test scripts and test plans and work with end users to coordinate test executionMonitor issues lists, coordinate and assist with remediation and escalation as neededDevelop change management and communication plansProvide end user tool demonstrations and develop end user documentationAssist in driving user adoption and measuring successProvide end user as well as developer supportMaintain a prioritized list of requests/projects and prepare updates regarding on hold and in flight effortsUtilize strong communication skills to interface with the Finance organization as well as IT and beyondWork independently, but in a cross-functional team environmentOther duties as assignedRequired Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology or other related discipline with 4+ years’ applicable experience or Master’s Degree with 2+ years’ experienceExtensive knowledge in two or more of the following
Oracle
EBS ERP modules : Payables, Receivables, Purchasing, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Projects, Billings, Procurement, Tax, etc. May be supplemented with SAP experience.Experience eliciting requirements from internal customers and bridging the gap between functional and technical teams.Business Analysis experience supporting multiple projects in parallel from inception to implementation.Proficient in
waterfall software development lifecycles methodology
and has a strong understanding of system testing and quality assurance principles.Must have strong testing methodology, problem-solving, analytical and in-depth research skillsPossess the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written, with business and technical teamsBe able to prioritize and self-manage a multitasked workload in a fast-paced environmentExperience trumps education, provided the above are metPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Experience with Hyperion or other financial management tools
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $92290 - $156860
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
