You can explore the details of our benefits offering by visiting the following link: https://jhhs.mybenefitsjhhs.com/ Summary: The Document Imaging Specialist, under the leadership of the HIM Operations Supervisor, will perform all aspects of the Document Imaging functions for the electronic health record. The Specialist will make rounds throughout the hospital to retrieve records from patient care areas. Responsibilities include prepping, scanning and indexing paper medical record documentation. The Document Imaging Specialist will perform all tasks within defined expectations for productivity and quality, to ensure the integrity of the electronic health record. Keeps all patient information confidential and abides with privacy and security regulations. Schedule: Tues- Saturday; 7:30am-4:00pm Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Work Experience: Prior medical office experience or document processing/scanning/indexing or Health Information Management experience preferred.
