Play a pivotal role as we scale to new international markets and help drive our enterprise strategy in the US. Lead a product generating $50B in annual payroll volume, built on a platform with bitemporal modeling, and a computation framework for expressing complex tax engines with explainability in mind.You will be responsible for working collaboratively with other cross-functional teams and leaders to bring together a suite of global productsWork cross-functionally with design leadership and product management leadership to drive the vision and strategy of this organizationResponsible for thinking about the team from both a platform mindset as well as a product-oriented mindsetDrive engineering initiatives like architectural changes & hiring process changesProvide technical leadership and vision in a widely scoped engineering team.Capable of driving the development of products and platforms in a fast-paced, startup environmentQualifications

Experience building products and teams from the ground upAt least 15 years of experience in software development and delivery, with in-depth knowledge of software architecturesAt least 8 years of experience as an Engineering Manager in building, managing, and scaling mid to large-sized development teamsExperience building large-scale software platformsA Bachelor’s or Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or experience in a relevant fieldProficiency in recruiting, organizing, and motivating teamsYou care about product ownership and solving problems for our customersTeam development skills: ability to set a roadmap and goals for a team and every one of its members, delegate intelligently, offer engineering advice, deliver frequent and transparent feedback, work with team members to grow in their careers, and ensure everyone delivers quality resultsGreat project management skills to lead, care about product ownership, an outstanding customer-centric mindset, and solve problems for our customersThe pay range for this role is:225,000 - 393,750 USD per year (US Tier 1)
