Given the high-stakes and the large number of potential class members, our clients depend on our adaptability, efficiency, and ability to maintain an extremely high degree of reliability in our work.The Labor and Employment Practice typically engages in matters relating to Wage and Hour or Discrimination litigation as well as other employment-related business consulting. We frequently provide analysis and support related to minimum wage/overtime claims, meal and rest break claims, employee misclassification claims, and discrimination matters related to hiring, pay, promotion, and/or wrongful termination at all stages of the litigation process. Clients typically rely on us to provide complex exposure models, expert reports, preparation for depositions, rebuttals to the work of other experts, and expert testimony at deposition or trial. Clients also often seek out our services for data collection efforts in the form of surveys, video content analysis, and on-site observational studies.Job Description:

The Senior Consultant role is a very demanding but fulfilling position that is responsible for the majority of the programming required on projects, including ensuring that all programs are completely error-free and that all projects are on or ahead of schedule. Senior Consultants will serve as mentors to other junior staff, providing feedback and guidance on projects.This is a highly selective position. Applicants who have less than three years of work experience should instead apply for the Consultant position.Salary Scale:

Senior Consultants are paid an annual salary of between $118,000 and $128,500, subject to all required deductions and withholdings, and not including the value of benefits under any Resolution Economics-maintained benefit plan. The Senior Consultant position is classified as exempt from overtime pay requirements under applicable federal and state law.Responsibilities:

Implement appropriate quantitative methods after evaluating the completeness and quality of dataReview case documents and data to formulate and evaluate various arguments and claimsCreate complicated excel models to estimate potential economic damages under a variety of different scenariosEnsure 100% accuracy of all programs and outputPrepare written analyses, presentations, and exhibits of quantitative findingsCommunicate complex issues to non-technical audiencesActively contribute to all processes in the development and execution of a project work planKeep senior team members informed of case work progress and issuesManage and mentor junior staffAssist with office recruiting and training effortsJob Qualifications:

Skills and Abilities:

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in validating, processing, and analyzing data (prior litigation consulting experience strongly preferred)Demonstrated ability to write code in SAS for complex data analysisAdvanced programming skills in other languages such as R, Stata, Python, SQL with basic knowledge of SAS may be consideredDemonstrated understanding of economic damages and statistical conceptsHigh proficiency in MS Excel, experience building exposure models a plusStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for presenting work product to managers and clientsAbility to effectively respond to unexpected client requests and changing of task prioritiesGeneral knowledge of labor and employment laws is preferredProven ability to quickly learn and apply new conceptsAbility to work in a team environmentAbility to balance several projects and client requests at onceWillingness to work an unpredictable work scheduleEducation and Work Experience:
