This opportunity is in Bentonville, Arkansas where we are expanding our awesome design community in our new, state-of-the-art campus.

As a

Principal Content Designer , you'll distill complex problems into easy-to-understand experiences, creating content that is purposeful for our customers, associates, suppliers and partners worldwide. You will create and champion the highest quality content, helping drive the development of foundational tools, frameworks and resources that allow the team to scale efficiently and deliver excellent, consistent and compelling work. Collaborating with design, product and business partners, you'll positively shape products and foster an inclusive associate experience with your artful use of voice, content best practices and end-to-end UX strategies. You'll employ your great strengths in storytelling to present your vision and content rationale in a compelling, convincing manner to the wider team and leadership.

We're looking for someone with strong skills in problem solving, facilitating working sessions, presenting to and influencing stakeholders, collaborating with other business functions. Help us identify, define and implement solutions that go beyond words and integrate seamlessly into the lives of our users.

You'll sweep us off our feet if you have:

A demonstrated track record working cross-functionally, shipping successful product copy in a fast-paced environment.Experience facilitating workshops and aligning stakeholders through the use of sound rationale - finding opportunities to bring out the best in people and flex to the needs of the program by refining the messaging.A deep appreciation for systems thinking and a keen understanding of information architecture, both from a design and content lens.A positive mindset with a penchant for puzzles. You're nimble and understand innately what 'less is more' means to the user.The ability to produce great work in short timeframes, multi-task across different projects and platforms and adapt to the ever-changing priorities of the business.

Crafting the strategic vision for your discipline, then delivering a solution with cogent, on-brand product copy.Solving complex problems with curiosity and openness.Leading by doing, inspiring, coaching and contributing to the design org's culture.Collaborating seamlessly and flexibly with cross-functional partners to drive best-in-class thinking from all parts of the organization.Proactively soliciting, leveraging, and sharing design research, competitive analysis, relevant metrics/KPIs to deliver strategic, engaging, impactful communications.Thinking holistically through the entire ecosystem of end users.

Preferred qualifications:

Degree in Communications, Journalism, Digital Design, or similar.8+ years of experience in UX content strategy/design (not product marketing).A portfolio with UX case studies showcasing your craft, impact and collaborative process.Experience participating in peer reviews and working within a crit culture.Excellent written and verbal communication.

Minimum Qualifications:

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 5 years' experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.

Option 2: 7 years' experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.

Design certification (for example, IDEOU - Foundations in Design Thinking Certificate).Driving product development in a user experience area.Master's degree in UI/UX Design, Interactive and Visual Design, Product Design, or related area.Related industry experience (for example, retail, supply chain, eCommerce, healthcare).We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
