Under the direction of the Manager, responsible for directing the monthly financial close and external financial reporting of the Company. Oversees the preparation and filing of all annual and quarterly SEC financial reports, and the application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in those filings as appropriate. Monitors and interprets pending and newly issued reporting rule changes and assesses impact to the Company. Meets and summarizes impact for CEO, CFO, and Controller.
Participates as a team member in various Company initiatives providing guidance and advice on accounting and financial matters. If applicable or appropriate, assists in business unit’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements, and Bank policies and procedures, including but not limited to those related to Fair Banking, Anti-Money Laundering laws and regulations, Bank Secrecy Act, and USA PATRIOT Act.
