Director, Enterprise Data Architecture
for our National Financial Services and Asset Management client. This strategic hands-on leadership role is responsible for developing and executing the technical vision to drive the organization's transformation into a "Data Driven" company.Your Mission:Provide thought leadership and execute a sustainable, scalable, and high-performance data architecture that meets dynamic enterprise requirements.Translate the strategic data vision into actionable architecture roadmaps and service offerings.Lead the design and implementation of robust data platforms, including data integration (ETL), master data management (MDM), and big data solutions.Serve as the technical lead for data warehouse and business intelligence (BI) projects.Design, optimize, and administer databases (MS SQL Server, SaaS) in support of enterprise applications.Lead the optimization of SQL queries and troubleshoot database performance issues.Develop and implement comprehensive backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability plans.Drive enterprise-wide database maintenance plans to ensure maximum availability and performance.Conduct strategic reviews of database architecture to align with business goals.Research, evaluate, and propose emerging data technologies and best practices.Lead the design and implementation of enterprise data architecture leveraging Microsoft cloud-based solutions.Architect and manage ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory and other cloud-based tools.Implement and optimize advanced analytics platforms to enable real-time insights and machine learning capabilities.Drive the adoption of modern data governance and compliance practices.Minimum Requirements:10+ years of experience in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, and Database Administration.10+ years of experience with SQL/T-SQL and database management systems (MS SQL Server).5+ years of experience with cloud-based data solutions (Azure preferred).3+ years of experience leading and managing projects and teams.Proven track record in designing and implementing ETL solutions.About CGS Business Solutions:CGS specializes in IT business solutions, staffing, and consulting services, focusing on IT Applications, Network Infrastructure, Information Security, and Engineering.
