Job Functions / Responsibilities

Lead product development and validation activities related to:

Requirements DefinitionSupplier selectionOutsourcing contract engineering services workMaintain alignment with the Battery team and experts within PACCAR divisionsProvide Technical Leadership for battery development programs and running business support

Drive Uptime with electric powertrains and battery electric vehiclesDetermine department and project goals, track and manageProvide written and verbal updates to communicate status, changes, risks and improvement opportunitiesQualifications & Skills

Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Physics required. Masters or Ph.D. preferred10+ years commercial vehicle / industry experience requiredDemonstrated technical knowledge and working experience in battery development/integration for commercial vehicle applications, actively leading projects in this fieldPrevious Supervisory or managerial experience requiredDemonstrated ability to work with a team to achieve timely objectives requiredDemonstrated leadership and effective collaboration across diverse teams solving complex problems requiredDemonstrated truck and powertrain product knowledge requiredExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to deliver technical presentations and written reports to diverse audiences requiredWillingness to grow personally and professionallyWillingness to collaborate on a global scale across multiple continents and time zonesReady to learn and make use of new processes and techniquesWillingness to be outgoing, and engaging, with a demonstrated passion to deliver top quality resultsBenefits
