UX Writer and Content Strategist

Client User Experience is made up of multi-disciplinary teams of UX Designers, Researchers, Writers, Content Strategists, Program Managers, and Engineers:We care deeply about the people who use our products. The UX team plays an integral part in gathering insights about the attitudes, emotions, and behaviors of people who use our products to inspire and inform design. We collaborate closely with each other and with engineering and product management to create industry-leading products that deliver value for end users and for client businesses.Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communication, Literature, Business, Marketing, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.7 years of experience in writing, editorial, marketing, UX writing, content design, or related, as well as leading content strategy projects.Experience on UX-focused product writing and shaping content for multi-disciplinary projects.Portfolio demonstrating UX writing excellence, tone and voice, writing guidelines, and other standards.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in user-focused writing and a passion for deeply understanding and simplifying complex systems and concepts.Strategic thinker, capable of proactively solving problems to unblock work.Strong record of independence and success in UX writing, including skills like establishing frameworks, content patterns, and voice and tone.Strong record of balancing forward-thinking strategic work and landing tactical work for quick impact.Ability to lead, collaborate and influence (with and without formal authority).Experience working on complex projects with tight timelines and/or a large set of collaborators.As an equal opportunity employer, ICONMA provides an employment environment that supports and encourages the abilities of all persons without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or express, ethnicity, national origin, age, disability status, political affiliation, genetics, marital status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
