ORGANIZATION SUMMARY

Access 304 is a 501c3 organization, founded in 2023 with the mission to provide and promote mental health care in West Virginia. In one year, Access 304 conducted over 1000 individual therapy sessions, over a dozen group sessions, and has helped over 100 members from our community as they navigated their mental health journeys. Access 304 aims to disrupt the status quo by creating an organization untethered by insurance company demands. Further, we strive to create a workforce pipeline into West Virginia by training clinicians, who will ultimately want to remain employed in Appalachia. Through advocacy, training, and providing direct clinical services, Access 304 is a hub for comprehensive mental health support. Public service student loan forgiveness is possible with employment at our agency.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Clinical Director will be responsible for overseeing the clinical practice of trainees and pre-licensed clinicians, providing leadership in training, supervision, and support. This role includes facilitating weekly didactic sessions, offering supervision for those pursuing licensure, and supporting the clinical initiatives of Access 304.

The Clinical Director position offers flexibility, with full-time availability preferred. Part-time opportunities may be considered on a case-by-case basis. The Clinical Director will maintain a caseload of approximately 15-20 sessions per week while also dedicating time to manage and mentor interns and pre-licensed staff during non-clinical hours. Willingness to work with both insurance panels and sliding scale clients is a requirement for this position.

This role is classified as a W-2 position, with the clinician delivering mental health services to children, teens, and adults in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision and Training:

Oversee the clinical practice of trainees and pre-licensed clinicians.

Provide weekly didactic training and clinical supervision for staff pursuing licensure.

Offer guidance and support to students and clinical staff in their professional development.

Clinical Oversight:

Maintain a personal caseload of 15-20 client sessions per week, delivering mental health services to kids, teens, and adults.

Monitor the quality of clinical services provided by interns and pre-licensed clinicians, ensuring adherence to professional standards and best practices.

Program Management:

Supervise and manage the day-to-day clinical activities of interns and pre-licensed clinicians.

Collaborate with Access 304’s leadership team to enhance clinical operations and service delivery.

Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, ethical standards, and organizational policies.

Support and Development:

Contribute to the development of clinical training materials, manuals, and protocols.

Provide leadership in crisis situations and assist with complex clinical cases.

Engage in continuous professional development to keep current with best practices in mental health treatment.

Collaboration:

Act as a liaison between clinical staff and administrative leadership to ensure smooth communication and alignment with organizational goals.

Foster a positive and supportive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration.

Qualifications:

Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.

Current licensure as an LICSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD in West Virginia.

Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, preferably outpatient.

Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR, etc.).

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical practice.

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
