As a Managed Services Consultant for the Network Security group, you will be primarily responsible for performing at an advanced level on the Check Point security platform. Check Point support will include advanced policy management, appliance upgrades, troubleshooting, and advanced administration.Key ResponsibilitiesConfigure, manage, and upgrade NGFW, IPS, UTM, DLP, VPN, Web Filtering Appliances, and a wide variety of other security productsProvide support for integration and onboarding activities to ensure smooth client transitionPerform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems, using strong TCP/IP networking skillsParticipate in the completion of required project deliverables for network and security assessments, implementations, and other scopes of workCore ResponsibilitiesWorking hours: Sat - Wed - 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (UTC-05:00) New YorkParticipate in an on-call rotationStrong networking fundamentalsStrong diagnostic skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsProactive, self-motivated, and strong ability to learn new things with little guidanceFunction in a client-facing role, providing high-level remote troubleshooting and problem resolution on multiple network environmentsQualificationsCritical Requirements:CCSA (Check Point Certified Security Associate)6+ years professional experience maintaining a Check Point Next-Gen Firewall environmentCheck Point firewall deployment and configuration experienceCheck Point firewall IPSEC VPN deployment and configuration experienceCustomer service focus required with strong interpersonal skills including excellent written/verbal communication skillsDesired (not required):CCSE (Check Point Security Expert)Routing/Wireless ExperienceCisco ASA / Palo Alto / Fortigate ExperienceCheck Point Maestro ExperienceCheck Point VSX ExperienceS. or B.A. DegreeMust be able to work in the United States without sponsorship from an employer now or in the future.EOE M/F/Veterans/Disabled
