ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary:In accordance with the mission and philosophy of Dignity Health, the Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of radiographic, mammography, and specialized procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision, under the general direction of a radiologist and radiology administration. Incumbents in this position shall comply with all applicable laws and rules including the Dignity Health Standards of Conduct and policies and procedures that apply to his/her job responsibilities. They shall seek guidance when in doubt, promptly report any potential or suspected violations, and assist in investigating allegations of violations when requested. When called upon, the incumbent shall assist in risk evaluation and work collaboratively with facility/entity leaders to implement, monitor, and mitigate risk corrective plans outlined by the Compliance program.

QualificationsMinimum:Four (4) years experience as a technician plus one (1) modality or three (3) years experience as a technician plus two (2) modalities.Must have satisfactorily completed a formal radiologic technology training program accredited through the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) and the California Department of Public Health, Radiation Health Branch (CDPH-RHB).AHA certified Basic Life Support (BLS) required.ARRT certification required.Radiology Technologist (CRT) required.Certification(s) for additional modalities required.MRAD:CA; BLS-CPR; RTR.
