The Editor is well-versed in the editorial production process and ensures content is relevant, engaging, accurate and original. They can juggle projects, prioritize accordingly and tackle new challenges with gusto.Please note: This is

Responsibilities
Produce high-quality content that adheres to SEO best practices, Associated Press style and brand guidelines.Manage your content through various phases of production to ensure on-time delivery. This includes brainstorming, crafting assignment briefs, working with writers on any necessary revisions, fact-checking, editing, sourcing images, publishing in WordPress and quality assurance.Research and review competitors, SEO keyword trends and analytics to inform your brainstorming as well as editing decisions.Track trends in the digital landscape, look out for new modes of storytelling to test, and suggest ways to improve Core Digital Media’s content offerings.Collaborate with internal and external teams.Recruit and onboard new freelance writers.Take on other responsibilities as needed.Qualifications
A minimum of three years of editorial experience for a digital publication.Editing or writing experience for personal finance websites is strongly preferred.A bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., journalism, English) or the equivalent in relevant professional experience.Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work independently, manage up and drive solutions.A strong understanding of fact-checking, editing and SEO best practices.Experience with WordPress and Microsoft Office.Familiarity with basic HTML is preferred.Copywriting experience is a plus.
$70,000 - $90,000 a year
