About the Role:

LaunchDarkly is seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager with a strong data and observability background to join our team. This role will be pivotal in building and expanding new product offerings in the observability spaces as well as supporting our existing products cross-functionally. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of observability, monitoring and how customers consume and work with data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product vision, strategy, and execution.Responsibilities:Define and lead the development and execution of LaunchDarkly’s products in the Observability & Monitoring space, including maintaining a product roadmap that aligns with company goals and customer requirements.Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs.Monitor industry trends and competitor products to stay ahead of the curve.Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring their needs and pain points are addressed in all product decisions.Act as a General Manager of the Observability product line with P&L responsibility.Partner with marketing and cross-functional teams including sales, customer success and support teams, to define Go-To-Market plans and strategy for data observability features.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.5+ years of experience in product management, specifically with data, analytics, observability and monitoring products.Proven track record of successfully bringing products in data or observability spaces to market.Strong understanding of data management, data engineering.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly product features.Passion for data and a deep understanding of how customers use and interact with data products.
