Our talented teams work together, revolutionizing treatment, continually improving products, understanding unmet needs, and connecting communities.Reporting into a US Rare Disease East Divisional General Manager, the US Rare Disease Strategic Account Director assumes the commercial leadership role for assigned key accounts, providing overall account leadership, including developing and executing account plans, as well as coaching cross-functional team members.This role will work in partnership with their Medical Strategic Account Co-Director to build a strategic account plan for assigned accounts and organize the appropriate resources within SANOFI to drive value co-creation with customers and meet/exceed revenue targets.Main responsibilities:Develop and co-create tailored solutions to meet key customer needs.Drive business and optimize care pathways for cross-lysosomal storage diseases (xLSD) patients.Responsible for 5 therapeutic areas and 7 brands, building and gaining approval for account-specific plans.Collaborate with the Medical Strategic Account Co-Director to oversee a set geography of key accounts.Engage C and D suite professionals and build strategic relationships with key stakeholders.Analyze and address barriers to care optimization and drive improvements through innovative solutions.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in all operational activities.About youProven experience in a sales leadership role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.Strong negotiation skills and ability to network with customers and internal stakeholders.Excellent communication skills both written and oral.Self-directed and organized with excellent execution and planning skills.Candidates must live within 500 miles from 20646 zip code.Why choose us?At Sanofi, we bring the miracles of science to life alongside a supportive, future-focused team.
