ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Director, IT - Epic Revenue Cycle, Ambulatory & Training is responsible for strategic planning for Epic projects surrounding the Ambulatory, Patient Access and Revenue Cycle applications. The Director of Epic Ambulatory and Training, along with the Manager of the Revenue Cycle report up through this position. The Senior Director, IT - Epic Revenue Cycle, Ambulatory & Training position is accountable for the processes and systems used to support the technology in Mercy Health Services' computing and clinical environments. The position will be responsible for creating the vision, implementing, and supporting the underlying computing systems architecture and integrating the teams that support this environment.

RequirementsEducation and Work Experience:

Bachelors degree requiredMinimum of 15 years technology related experienceEpic Ambulatory, Patient Access and Revenue Cycle experience requiredPrevious management experience requiredProject Management (leading teams through large projects in healthcare IT required)

Other Requirements:

Healthcare experience required.Demonstrated progressive experience with technology and information systems; healthcare environment preferred.Strong analytic and organizational skills, particularly in planning, communications, process redesign, and problem-solving.Familiarity with legacy and state-of-the-art computer technology.Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of users who have varying levels of computer expertise.Advanced interpersonal skills to relate effectively with IT team members and IT users in other departments.Demonstrated progressive experience with information systems.Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Access.Must be able to work independently.Must be knowledgeable in the use of computers.Must be knowledgeable in computer duties, use of equipment, etc.
