If you are passionate about what you do and having fun while doing it; tired of rigid and strict work environments and would like to work in a non-bureaucratic startup cultural environment, WorldLink may be the place for you.We are looking for a Curation & Merchandising Specialist who will be responsible for executing programming plans for content distributed through the TV Plus service, for both Owned & Operated (O&O) linear channels and VOD. You should have strong knowledge and passion for entertainment, and an understanding of how users discover and consume video content.Role and Responsibilities:Execute 2x curation releases per week by routinely checking for newly onboarded assets and curating into applicable rows/tabs/collections.Maintain an editorial calendar, identify key seasonal tent poles/topical events, and develop themed rows/collections to support.Work closely with Asset Management & Ops teams to resolve any asset issues and ensure assets are fully onboarded in time for curation.Assist with creative merchandising asset requests, tracking of received assets, and development of creative deliverables.Work closely with Business Development, Marketing, Creative, and Design teams to ensure that creative merchandising assets/deliverables are to spec and curated in accordance with editorial priorities.Maintain a strong attention to detail when executing curation releases and report any content or usability issues with global CMS tool to appropriate teams, including liaising with HQ team in South Korea.Ad hoc tasks as needed, including analysis of the competitive landscape and industry trends.Required Experience and Education:3+ years of experience programming/content curation or TV programming experience (consumer-facing OTT video experience a plus).Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent related work experience required.Demonstrated strength in Microsoft Office Suite - specifically Excel and an understanding of Content Management Systems (CMS), Media Asset Management Systems (MAM), Metadata, and tagging content.Broad knowledge and passion for entertainment/pop culture including movies, TV, and music.Experience with kids programming is a plus.Experience with international programming is a plus.Experience using content analysis and data analytics to inform programming decisions.Airtable experience is a plus.Necessary Skills and Attributes:Self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a team-based or independent environment.Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Limited supervision and the exercise of discretion.Excellent collaborator with ability to work across a large organization and language barriers to drive results.Strong work ethic.Ability to overcome technical hurdles and re-prioritize tasks accordingly.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by contract employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
