August 29 - October 29, 2024The Medical Sciences Institute at Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin seeks an enthusiastic and collegial junior or mid-career clinical faculty member to join our multidisciplinary team to provide patient care and support services for patients with bleeding and clotting disorders. This role also provides clinical consultation within our diagnostic laboratories.As a federally funded hemophilia treatment center (HTC), Versiti’s Comprehensive Center for Bleeding Disorders (CCBD) provides diagnosis and ongoing medical and supportive care for patients with bleeding or clotting disorders across the lifespan. We aim to provide state-of-the-art, personalized medical care to all our patients.Duties include care of adult and possibly pediatric patients with hemophilia, severe von Willebrand disease, and rare coagulation disorders. The position also includes possibilities for administrative leadership and clinical research. Responsibilities will include medical care of non-malignant hematologic disorders in both outpatient and inpatient settings at the CCBD.The successful applicant will serve as a clinical consultant for our diagnostic laboratories, working with our interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality diagnostic care, identify unmet clinical needs, and aid in the development of new diagnostic assays.Applicants must be board-certified/eligible in hematology. Faculty members will engage in Departmental Career Development programs with a strong focus on mentorship.About the Employer
