Product Owner, Deposit Products & Platforms-Core Banking Services

We're looking for an experienced product professional to lead our Core Banking Services pod within our Global Wealth Management Americas digital group. You will:
• Own the product vision, strategy and roadmap for the services orchestration layer sitting above our Thought Machine core, namely Core Banking Services
• Establish strategy to move from product centric capabilities to client centric
• Formulate and be accountable for objectives and key results (OKRs) for the team, aligned to business goals and designed to drive client outcomes
• Understand the end-to-end client journey and collaborate with other teams to ensure a cohesive experience
• Maintain and prioritize the backlog of work for the team
• Lead the team in modern product practices, empower and be a servant leader to the members of the team, and create an environment of continuous improvement whilst making space for learning and innovation
• Interact with clients and internal consumers to understand their needs and assess market fit, analyze the business context and competitor landscape
• Line manage and develop the professional skills of product managers and product owners
• Partner closely with the Technical Lead, as well as aligned businesses and control functions across the division
• Provide thought-leadership and rigorously prioritize opportunities and resources for roadmap planning and implementation, while managing aggressive time frames

To better serve Financial Advisors and clients in North America, UBS aims to modernize the Banking capabilities of UBS Bank USA, and deliver a more holistic, full-service banking offering to our clients. UBS will digitize the core Banking systems to be faster, more effective, and more efficient in delivering lending and cash management offerings with a focus on key segments. UBS will build on its already high-performing Bank and strong net promoter scores with digitally led and high touch capabilities and further align to the UBS client promise -personalized, relevant, on-time, and seamless services.
You'll be joining the Digital Strategy and Platforms (DS&P) team in Weehawken, NJ. This team is focused on integrating the various segmented needs of the business into a strategically-focused whole through the delivery of best-in-class, customer-centric solutions.
Your expertise
• Core Banking technology, ideally with exposure to Thought Machine core and Gen 3 core best practices
• Deposit products and services
• Strong product leadership skills as well as several years of experience with a significant budget responsibility
• Outstanding leadership skills promoting a diverse, inclusive and motivating environment for employees with autonomy to deliver, mastery of skills and purposeful work
• Data-driven and analytical mindset to understand the business context and make the right decisions
• Focus on client centricity and commercial success
• Ability to drive change across the organization and influence key stakeholders
