U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Software Engineer (multiple openings) in Columbus, OH.

Essential Responsibilities:

The Software Engineer is responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of best in class software experiences and collaborates with a team and across the organization. This role takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to U.S. Bank standards in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience.

Specific duties include: (1) contribute in a lead role throughout the full project life cycle of requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, QA support, production deployment and warranty support; (2) ongoing sprint planning and user story definition and prioritization; (3) manage the development, maintenance and testing of the programs involving COBOL, JCL, CICS and DB2; (4) work with integrated web services using Zos, CICS, COBOL, DB2, JSON; (5) code and implement the system using IDz tool; (6) work on the full project life cycle from requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, QA support, production deployment and warranty support; (7) plan and implement the sprint planning event and prioritize the user stories for the next sprint; and (8) provide technical solutions to software application development problems.

Required technical skills & tools: COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, Zos, JSON, IDz, ADDI, Gitlab, Jira, Confluence, and Dragon Boat.

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering and 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience providing technical solutions to software application development problems.

Required Skills/Experience:
Must also have 24 months of experience with each of the following: (1) managing the development, maintenance and testing of the programs involving COBOL, JCL, CICS and DB2; (2) working with integrated web services using Zos, CICS, COBOL, DB2, JSON; (3) coding and implementing the system using IDz tool; (4) working on the full project life cycle from requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, QA support, production deployment and warranty support; and (5) planning and implementing the sprint planning event and prioritize the user stories for the next sprint. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently.

This position is with U.S. Bank National Association, a U.S. Bank company.

Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $138,590 - $ 140,100. (#LI-NDI #LI-DNI #LI-DNP #DE-DNP).
