The opportunity
This individual will work as a Scrum Master and ensures that all requirements are defined/refined and are supervised from end to end closure.
Drives the Agile(SAFE) ceremonies, represents the squad during PI planning (Program Increment Planning), ensuring there is an iterative improvement in quality and speed of delivery. Should have strong Agile concepts and drives the Teams Scrum & Non-Scrum teams to implement them.

Salary range is expected to be between
$74,270.00 CAD - $137,930.00 CAD

Drives the Agile(SAFE) ceremonies, represents the squad during PI planning (Program Increment Planning), ensuring there is an iterative improvement in quality and speed of delivery. Should have strong Agile concepts and drives the Teams Scrum & Non-Scrum teams to implement them.
Individual Accountabilities:
- Scrum master role with strong Agile(SAFE) and JIRA
- Strong hands-on knowledge on managing JIRA Boards
- Drive and implement all Agile ceremonies
- Works with software development teams to leading the Scrums(Agile)
- Own the PI planning and corresponding activities
- Prior Project Manager experience required
- Strong communication skill
- Ability to drive the deliveries, challenge the team on estimates, deep-dive on project requirements
- Work with cross-functional teams(Business, Tech and Test) to refine requirements and supervise sophisticated & critical deliveries
- Ensures progress against important landmarks where consistent and coordinated implementation is required
- Status reporting
- Has positive impact to specific organizational entities & understands nature of impact •
Job Requirements:
- 5+ years validated experience as a Scrum Master
- Agile (SAFE) and Jira experience
- PI planning (Program Increment Planning) for priorities, objectives and plan work for Program Increment
- Release Management experience
- Prior environment exposure to Software Development or Quality Assurance
- Demonstrates understanding of technology and actively participate in discussions associated with Manulife's products
