What the Accounting Manager will do:The Accounting Manager will manage all day to day operations of the accounting department
AP, AR, invoicing, collections, financial reporting, month-end close
Supervise, train, and mentor a team of 3The Accounting Manager will develop and analyze operational budgets, implement cost standards for materials and labor, prepare COGS, and manage inventorySupport the integrity of the general ledger, journal entries, financial statements and management reportingThe Accounting Manager will maintain and enhance policies and proceduresResponsible for filing monthly sales tax for multiple states
What the company needs in an Accounting Manager:Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of full-cycle accounting with supervisory experienceGovernment contracting experience requiredSelf-starter, able to work with minimal supervision, excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to handle multiple projects at one time#INSEP2024
