Supervisor - Sales Trainee is a sales developmental role assigned various sales routes and responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, overseeing the business relationship with a group of customers, providing indirect supervision for Merchandisers/distribution team members. This position will maintain accuracy of outlet orders and capture selling opportunities, while ensuring monthly and yearly sales goals are achieved in the most effective manner.

What your day will look like:

Train & develop knowledge in various departments such as Warehouse and Delivery to gain exposure and to learn other functional areas of the businessFlexibility to rotate sales route assignments based on the needs of the businessGenerates product orders daily for their customer base and ensures in-stock conditions on all Company productsProvides daily guidance and direction to Merchandisers/distribution team members on all customer needsWorks in partnership with the Merchandisers/distribution team members to execute the picture of success. Establish positive relationships with all customers, as well as providing superior customer serviceProvides feedback and recommendations to leadership on competitive threats and business opportunities as they ariseAbility to work with all functional team membersCoordinates all sales activities to ensure the highest level of execution on all marketing initiatives, new product introductions, and overall Picture of Success (PicOS)Ensures all merchandising and brand standards are executedReviews business results with customers on a pre-determined frequency and gains alignment on key business initiativesUses survey results to improve execution vs PicOSEnsures all key business goals are achieved to include volume, revenue, margin, share and execution targetsPerforms appropriate duties as assigned by managementBuild relationships with assigned customers using routines and call frequenciesResponsible for account planning and management of the account listMerchandises storesLeads the call for each assigned customer and is responsible for selling in key initiatives such as price, package plan, business results, new brands, promotions and marketing activitiesAssist (takes the lead) in the negotiation and renewal of contracts as needed - Customer marketing agreementsWhat you need to succeed:

Minimum 18 years oldValid driver's license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policyPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policiesRegular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the jobAbility to read, write and speak EnglishAbility to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelinesAbility to maintain safety and security of Company assetsAbility to utilize all Company provided resources and technologyAbility to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively in this fast-paced environmentAssociate degree (A.
