The role will be a Generalist to supplement the growing responsibility of the Divisional Finance Department. This opportunity will be part Consolidations Accountant, part Financial Analysist, and part Senior Accountant. For someone looking to diversify their corporate finance skill set this is the perfect role! This position will be an office role for our Dallas Headquarters.
Consolidation AccountantPrepare and review journal entries in accordance with GAAPReconcile, analyze, and review general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and validity of accounting transactions and the Company's books and recordsRespond to inquiries from external auditorsReporting support as needed
Financial Analyst
Budget and financial analysisAssist in regular monthly and quarterly close processes to ensure accurate reporting of financials.Budget development support and analysis; populate systems with entity budgets for reporting purposesAd hoc reporting and analysis as needed
Senior Accountant
Aid in Coordinating and overseeing an efficient and timely monthly financial close processPrepare Journal EntriesPrepare Accruals with supporting calculations/documentationPerforms analysis on income statement and balance sheets accountsAssist the team in identifying special accounting issues and performing necessary research to ensure compliance
Essential Skills/Competencies:
Strong written and verbal communication skillsIntermediate to advanced Excel skillsPrior AMS and accounting software knowledgePositive attitudeBA or BS in Finance or accountingThree - four years in an Accounting or Financial Analyst role
