The Inspector is responsible for reviewing products and materials during manufacturing to make sure they meet company requirements.
Qualifications
Inspect products following company and industry standardsAchieve inspection department targetsUtilize different measuring tools, as well as perform calibration on inspection instrumentsComplete all paperwork associated with the job packet neatly and accurately following Smalley Good Documentation PracticesProvide material handling support or any other function as neededRequirements:
Authorized to work in the US on a permanent basisExperience working in a manufacturing or related environmentProven experience working as a Quality Control Inspector preferredHigh School Diploma or Equivalent preferred Knowledge/ExpertiseMeasuring parts with precision instruments including micrometers, calipers, gauges, optical comparators, etc.Checking and performing calibration on inspection instrumentsPass required on Inspection and English test
