Description
•Operates order picker and forklift in and around warehouse
•Pulls product from the warehouse for shipment and production
•Wraps order on pallet for shipment
•Loads and unloads shipments, pallets, etc.
•Place shipments on racking systems
•Cleaning up debris on warehouse floor
•Lifts loose or stray products
•Assists in inventory control
•Assists all departments
•Assist with audits and inspections
•Receives and unloads incoming materials and compares the information on the packing slip with the purchase order to verify the accuracy of the shipment. All verified by Case.
•Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies the supervisor and/or purchasing personnel. All verified by Case.
•May operate a dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment; may operate a shrink-wrap machine; may operate a company vehicle to deliver shipments; may assist in routine maintenance of equipment and the shipping area.
•Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety.
•Leads, guides, and trains employees performing related work.
performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Physical Requirements
•Must be able to pick up boxes up to 25 lbs.
•Must be able to handle a box cutter and tape gun
Mental Requirements
•Must be able to communicate clearly (Spanish or English)
•Must be able to take direction
•Must be able to pass an eye test
Hygiene Requirements
•Must follow good grooming habits
•Must be able to handle multiple items without causing contamination.
