POSITION OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE:

Fresenius Medical Care, an $18 billion global healthcare organization and largest Kidney Care company in the world, is seeking a

Finance Business Partner to support our Global Real Estate department

and act as a trusted advisor to the leadership teams and provide valuable support and guidance in all areas of reporting, planning and forecasting. The role will require the individual to deeply understand the specifics of the functions its interaction with the different business segments and provide finance support directly to members of the management teams based on that information. It requires strong collaboration with other finance departments and acts as a change agent of the Finance Transformation.

The applicant is open to get involved in business issues and develop relations with people outside the Finance function.

The ideal candidate for this role possesses expertise in both Corporate FP&A as well as a strong understanding of Corporate Accounting as gained through experience with large Global organizations, additional areas of expertise and desirable traits include but not limited to:Expertise driving reporting, action tracking, and data analysisExcellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships internal stakeholdersAbility to present complex data to Legal, Compliance and Finance LeadershipTenacious professional willing to embrace foundational work as the organization moves through a high stakes HR transformation.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support establishing reporting and oversite of global real estate portfolio (special focus outside US)Support regular reviews to understand the portfolio performance, identify optimization potentials and align upcoming real estate projects and its impact on overall financialsDrive and support cost efficiency projects both within and outside the FME25 programProvide strategic leadership of short- and long-term goals through the use of thoughtful techniques in the communication of the company's mission and core values as a means to implement positive change and/or create organizational structure within the assigned business unit(s).Lead operational efforts through subordinates to complete the administration of business processes and services to ensure the operations effective achievement of goals within the assigned business unit(s).Direct and control the broad activities of the business unit(s) through the interpretation, application and implementation of company-wide policies and processes appropriate to the functional area(s).Business case modelling for new real estate projects. Develop and present analyses and reports for the assigned business unit(s) on a routine basis; providing recommendations for management review to enhance financial performance and business opportunities.Conduct regular meetings with the leadership teamPrepare and present all steering relevant information in a transparent and understandable way and create suitable decision templates and presentations to best support management decisionsBe an active member of the Finance Business partner teamEnsure that budgets and schedules are within company requirements with significant organizational responsibility for the overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, expense priority management, and recommendation and implementation changes of current methods.Provide leadership and oversight for all financial reporting. Produce timely and accurate GAAP financial statements.Provide leadership, guidance and coaching for all direct reports to maintain an engaged and productive workforce; partnering with Human Resources on employee matters.Collaborate with employees in the establishment of clear and concise development plans to ensure succession planning and the advancement of future leaders within the organization.May act as a liaison to cross-divisional teams; managing communications to ensure data accuracy and integrity within the assigned function(s).Provide technical guidance.Assist with various projects as assigned.SUPERVISION:

May be responsible for the direct supervision of various levels of accounting and/or finance staff.Education:

Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related discipline required. Master's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field preferred. CPA or CFA highly desirable.Qualifications:

5+ years of FP&A/Business Partnering Experience3+ years' experience as a Manager; or 3+ years' experience in a senior managerial role.Very good understanding of accounting topics and synthetic lease structuresAbility to deal with complexity of matrix organization and "undefined" topics in transition processesSuccessfully work with individuals in remote locations and across regionsApply analytical skills beyond the traditional functions of finance and to bring them to bear on a broad range of commercial issuesAbility to command respect and confidence with professional peersPossess strong interpersonal & excellent business partnering skills, as well as the ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organizationExcellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skillsCommercial curiosity, ability to ask the right questionsAbility to challenge, influence and contribute to leadershipAbility to work under pressure and independentlyPrior experience with Workday a plusAdvanced MS Excel skills desirableWillingness to travel to both North American HQ in Greater Boston area as well as Internationally
