Description APP Lead Primary Care OP Piedmont Healthcare has an opportunity for a Lead Advanced Practice Practitioner in the Primary Care outpatient setting. In This Role You Will Provide clinic care and medical services to individuals, families and/or groups as outlined in your primary job description working collaboratively with multiple Primary Care providers in the care of the PCPs patient panel. Collect and document data, conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order and schedules laboratory studies and professional consultations and provide direct patient care services. Assist with oversight and development of APPs within a given region. Including But Not Limited To Candidate Interviews Review of department productivity goals for APPs Promotion of PE, PHC, and Piedmont Clinic goals for quality and operational improvements Coordinate PTO requests with practice leadership Review schedule change requests with operational leaders to assure alignment to practice goals. Work with Practice managers to assure that all requirements for national, state, and local licensing and certifications are up to date for APPs. And to make sure applications and documentations for Supervising and delegating Physicians are met. Assist with behavioral and other HR issues Conduct monthly rounding Interface with Physicians, Director of Operations and Practice Manager for feedback on APP performance Prepare and present annual Performance appraisals Duties and responsibilities of this position will be coordinated with established clinic responsibilities with input from Operations Leadership. Time spent on the lead APP duties will not exceed greater than 4 hours per month. Position will report directly to Regional Medical Director with dotted line to Direct of Operations. Masters, Bachelors Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification or Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification
