Our firm is seeking a highly motivated Corporate Attorney to join our growing legal team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, with a particular focus on contract drafting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with our executive team and diverse client base, providing legal advice on a wide range of corporate matters.
Responsibilities:
As a Corporate Attorney, you will be responsible for:
- Providing legal advice and guidance on various corporate matters including corporate governance, compliance issues, and risk management.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide variety of contracts and agreements to protect the client’s legal and business interests.
- Advising on the interpretation, enforcement, and modification of contracts.
- Representing the company in legal proceedings, ensuring the company’s rights are protected.
- Collaborating with other departments to develop effective strategies for managing legal risks.
- Keeping abreast of changes in laws that affect the company’s operations and advising management accordingly.
- Conducting legal research and analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Providing training to company staff on legal matters, promoting legal and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess the following:
- A Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in corporate law- experience in public/private partnerships or government transactions strongly preferred.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound legal judgments.
- A high degree of professional ethics, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
