Patient Care Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Effectively utilize the Medflex system for registration, overall records entries, updates and document management throughout the patient experience process.
• Accurately verify benefits and load correct patient and insurance information for timely payment.
• Conduct patient orientation and ensure patients' needs and concerns are met.
• Check-in patients including verification of demographic and accurate insurance information.
• Perform Medicare review and follow up calls to complete required information faxed.
• Process requests for fits and labs requests.
• Daily perform accurate and efficient charting post appointment and in preparation next day charts

Required Skills/Abilities for Patient Care Coordinator:

• 1 year of basic computer skills
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic that includes attendance.
• Exceptional patient service skills.
• Concise written communication skills

The Patient Care Coordinator role is fully onsite in Akron, OH with a salary range of $37,440 - $45,760 depending on experience.
