The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing a group of projects for one or many customers. The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for initiating projects, securing resources, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring, and communicating progress and status of projects to stakeholders and management. Familiar with a variety of project management concepts, practices and procedures, the Portfolio Manager should be able to rely on their experience to plan and achieve their goals. Other project related tasks include reviewing / monitoring business processes or documents related to business requirements, analyzing, and understanding cost benefits, interpreting government regulations, reviewing contracts with suppliers or customers.The strategic aspects of the role require developing a keen understanding of customer needs across all lines of business and working closely with all members of the delivery team (product owners, architects, and developers, etc.) to successfully complete and deliver to what was committed to.

Your Role in the Team:
- Manage and ensure all stakeholders have a cohesive understanding and agreement on the project (project scope, timeline, responsibilities, risks, dependencies, quality, deliverables, and success criteria).
- Develop project documentation, including charters, plans, schedules, project updates, etc.
- Constantly track and communicate project status to stakeholders.
- Responsible for project Issue and Risk management. Identify project risks and issues by actively soliciting information from team members and stakeholders, listening to their responses, and implementing a risk management plan.
- Lead the project change control process.
- Lead and manage the financials or the projects (costs and revenue)
- Manage a group of projects (portfolio/program management)
- When necessary, for Agile engagements, could act as a Scrum Master and ensure all blockers of the sprint team are addressed.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong communication skills. Bilingual (English and French) both written and spoken is required. Also can:
- Understand complex information and convey it (verbally and or written) in simple business terms where non-technical stakeholders which includes the customer can understand.
- Present to larger groups, hold the audience's attention and be able to facilitate discussions.
- Convey messages quickly and easily and to speak clearly and convincingly in positive or negative situations.
- Write/produce documents of high-quality.
- More than 7 years of experience in project management:
- Small to large scale projects (teams over 30 and annual project budgets of $1 million)
- Product development & Infrastructure migrations (data center to the cloud) projects
- Different SDLC's: Agile / Scrum, KANBAN, interactive, waterfall methodologies
- Fixed-price contractual projects vs time and material projects
- AI and Blockchain projects (ideal, preferred)•
- Self-managed, organized, and motivated person with strong leadership skills.
- Experience in engaging with senior executives and managing relationships and expectations.
- Able to link the strategic vision of the project and its contribution to the strategy of the organization to guarantee the creation of value.
- Excellent analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to personal development, challenging work, and emerging technologies.
- The ideal candidate also has:
