Registered Nurse | Med/Surg (1st shift, no Benefits)

What You'll Do:* Utilize the nursing process including assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver comprehensive patient care.* Direct and coordinate all nursing care for assigned patients, ensuring effective collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.* Maintain accurate and timely data collection for direct and indirect patient care.* Document patient care activities thoroughly and reflectively on appropriate hospital forms.* Educate patients and their families on relevant health information and provide written materials as needed.What You Bring:* Graduation from an accredited school of registered nursing with current licensure in the State of Ohio or multi-state with Ohio recognized.* A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.* Completion of twenty-four (24) contact hours of approved Continuing Education (CE) during each two (2) year licensure renewal period as required by the Ohio Board of Nursing.* Continuous certification in American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS).* Certification in American Heart Association's Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within six (6) months of employment and maintenance of bi-annual renewal thereafter.* Completion of National Institutes of Health (NIH) Stroke Scale certification within six (6) months of hire and annual renewal thereafter.* Completion of Behavioral Health & De-Escalation Training (BHDT) within six (6) months of hire and annual renewal thereafter.Why Join Us:At Memorial, we uphold values of Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence, and Service in everything we do.
