Registered Nurse - Breast Care Services

We strive to foster an environment that embraces our employees' unique strengths, experiences and perspectives which ultimately drives our exceptional, patient-centered care. **_We are currently hiring for a Part-Time (0.6 FTE) Registered Nurse for Breast Care Services!_****What You Can Expect:**The BCS RN is an emotional support and comfort to patients in difficult times and helps calm their fears. Day to Day duties consist of:+ Coordinate pre-procedure calls, prepare patient charts, and relay key information to the Breast Care Services team.+ Review pathology reports and forward relevant details to the Radiologist.+ Provide guidance and support to patients during breast imaging procedures.+ Teach and follow up with patients on discharge instructions after procedures.+ Assist with biopsies, aspirations, and pre-surgery procedures using ultrasound, mammogram, and MRI.+ Help with opening devices, patient positioning, bandaging biopsy sites, and educating patients on post-procedure breast care.+ Other RN duties as assigned**Qualifications:**+ Education: Nursing Degree+ Experience: 1 years' experience+ Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice**What's in it for you**At St. Luke's, caring for people in the communities we serve is our mission - and this includes our own SLHS team.
