Ensures comprehensive, quality care for the patient on dialysis. Responsible for organizing and implementing educational programs and providing development opportunities for staff. Participates in the administration of unit policies and procedures as well as ensuring that all Federal End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) requirements are met. Represents the organizations in a professional manner.You will be responsible for:Supporting and maintaining a team program and delegating responsibilities to provide the supervision and instruction necessary to meet the needs (physical, mental, emotional) of the patient and family.Serving as liaison between the patient, staff and physician, assuring the patient’s right to appropriate therapy. Interpreting and executing doctor’s orders, and ensuring that the patients are treated with dignity, respect and ensures consideration is given to individualneeds.Providing direct patient care when necessary.
