2nd shift$15.5Job Description- Observe all expectations for quality and safety.- Meet or exceed company expectations for production performance to maximize sales.- Knowledge of SQF, GMP's, SOP's, and HACCP, and other food process sanitation requirements.- Report any/all food safety or food quality issues immediately to supervision.- Able to lift 50 to 70 lbs.- Conduct audit of production in process and of the finished product to ensure compliance with all product specifications, customer requirements and regulatory regulations.- Conduct pre-operational inspection of production area after sanitation to ensure adequate cleaning of production line and production area.- Conduct timely audits of production process and finished products as stated in the QA SOP's.- Ensure process and finished products are in compliance with all product specifications and regulatory compliance.- Verify correct lot numbers are being used at the mixing stations and compare with Plex entries.- Responsible for retaining shift samples and evaluating.- Collect micro samples of product as required.- Conduct equipment calibrations as indicated in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) as required when the need arises due to broken or damaged equipment.- Effectively communicate any operational issues to production supervision for corrective action.- Effectively communicate any food safety and food quality issues or operational issues to management to initiate immediate corrections.- Review and correct daily shift documentation from QA and production.- Pull retains for review when necessary due to a customer complaint.- Make copies of check sheets and other documents as needed.- Follow all plant Good Manufacturing Policies (GMP's), Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP's) and Safety rules.- Notify production lead of any waste issues and/or machine malfunctions.- Meet or exceed the Food Safety and Quality Standards of the Company.- Implement actions needed to prevent food safety and food quality issues.- Coordinate with QA to ensure company quality SOP's are adhered to.- Prevent cross-contamination by following all policies and procedures.- Basic mathematical skills.Hard Skills
