Summary: Responsible for the inspection of incoming materials and outgoing product at various stages in the production process and data collection of results to generate product quality reports. Inspect printed circuit board (PCB's) assemblies and other incoming materials for compliance to company specifications. Perform First Article Inspection for all new parts and new vendors Generate spreadsheets for data collection and reports Inspect PCB's by using magnifiers or microscope to detect circuit shorts, missing solder and solder bridges, scratches, cracks and other defects. Perform basic assembly tasks on production line (identify components, read B.O.M., drawings, special instructions, completing paperwork, etc). Perform other duties as assigned. Skills & Requirements Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products and Access Ability to use precision measuring instruments and devices Ability to keep accurate records and generate reports Ability to follow company procedures and standards Excellent time management skills with the ability to work with little supervision Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to lift or move a minimum of 50 lbs.
