QA Tester

Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled QA Tester with expertise in both Manual and Automation testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in all phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and a strong background in Functional, Progression, and Regression Testing. This role involves working closely with the product owner, performing log and database analysis, and executing various types of testing.Key Responsibilities•Perform QA testing, including Manual and Automation, throughout the STLC.•Leverage extensive experience in Functional, Progression, and Regression Testing for POS applications in QA & UAT.•Collaborate with the product owner to ensure test cases are available for the development team before each iteration.•Conduct log and database analysis to provide additional context to issues.Required Qualifications•Experience writing test cases and performing functional, non-functional, and regression testing.•Experience with relational and NoSQL databases for backend testing.•Expertise in Java, Selenium, SQL Server, and Postgres.•Experience writing and executing API test cases (SoapUI/RestAssured).•Experience performing log analysis using Logz and Kibana.•Ability to work on-site at the Irving office.•Familiarity with Jira and Zephyr Scale.•Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) or Test-Driven Development (TDD) and tools like Cucumber.•Experience designing and executing automated tests.Preferred Qualifications•Experience using Jira and Zephyr Scale for test case management.•Knowledge of performance testing tools and methods.•Familiarity with cloud-based environments and testing.Education: Bachelors Degree
