Summary

We are searching for a B2B Payment Optimization Manager. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in B2B payments sales or account management in the mid-market commercial and virtual card segment. This client-facing role will drive revenue by working closely with our existing customers to optimize their payments, including developing and executing supplier campaign strategies that maximize adoption of our virtual card and other payments products. This individual will collaborate closely with internal partners including Supplier Enrollment, Customer Success, and Marketing to further support these initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Payments, this highly visible and strategically important role is a great opportunity to have a direct impact on a fast-growing company in the fintech market.

What Part Will You Play?

Engage with existing clients to understand their specific payment needs and demonstrate how our payment solutions, including virtual card adoption, can most benefit them and their suppliersDrive client adoption, growth, retention, and the overall success of clients' payment programsProvide payments subject matter expertise during client engagementsConduct spend analysis of clients' supplier files, and consult with clients on supplier enablement strategies based upon this analysis and industry best practicesDevelop and execute customers' supplier enablement campaignsCoordinate supplier outreach with our in-house supplier onboarding teamFacilitate direct outreach to key strategic suppliers as necessaryManage communication with clients on campaign progress and outcomesEngage and collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure a positive client and supplier experienceCritically evaluate the business processes related to the role, and suggest improvements where neededOther duties as required to support MineralTree and our customers' success

What Are We Looking For in This Role?

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree Relevant Experience or Degree in: Degree in Finance, Marketing, Business, etc.; Combination of relevant training and/ or experience in lieu of degree Typically Minimum 8 Years Relevant Exp Experience in client facing roles and/or financial industry.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities

5+ years of experience in commercial credit card, virtual card, b2b payments, financial services, or merchant services, in a client management or sales capacityProven track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets, sales and client retention goalsAccomplished client relationship manager or sales executive in the B2B payments sectorStrong sales acumen, including selling value and overcoming objections with finesseExcellent client-facing presentation skillsExceptional written and oral communication skillsHigh degree of energy and self-motivationStrong analytical skills with attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneouslyDemonstrated ability to self-direct work efforts, meet deadlines, take initiative, and drive resultsExcellent problem-solving skills and resourcefulnessHigh standards of integrityProficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), MS Excel, and MS PowerPointInterest in being part of a fast-paced, collaborative and high growth culture

Pay:

Pay Range is from $81,100.00 - $128,750.00 and there is an opportunity for additional commissions/incentive associated with this role.
